Jon Snow was the bastard son of Lord Eddard Stark. Despite his heritage, he was raised on near-even footing with his other siblings, and eventually, despite not being heir to a noble house, he came to possess his own Valyrian steel sword - Longclaw. The guard is subtly curved towards the blade and the hilt is in black. Instead of a traditional pommel, the sword features a feral looking white direwolf - the symbol of House Stark and an animal that Jon greatly identifies with. as well as a silk screened wall plaque that features the Oath of the Night Watch.
